They call me “Granny Gloria.” Some very knowledgeable people come and go here. For instance, see that lady sitting over there talking to all those other folks? Her name is Suzanne, and she’s a death doula.
Tell me, have you ever heard of the term “death doula”?
I hadn’t, until a few days ago. I’d heard of birth doulas, who provide physical, emotional and informational support to clients before, during, and after childbirth. But not death doulas.
